Lemon Basil is a heat loving heirloom, originally native to India, that has become an important culinary addition to many cuisines around the world. Intense, citrusy aroma and flavor characterize this basil.Lemon Basil is great for containers and more heat tolerant than other basils. Use it as a fresh herb in salads, fish and vegetable dishes or dry the leaves for later use.Plant basil with your tomatoes and it will improve the growth and flavor of your tomatoes. Basil also does well with peppers, oregano, asparagus and petunias.
