(tuber in pot with soil, not yet sprouting)
The glorious tricolor effect of this unique dahlia is certainly something your more discerning customers will appreciate. Double Shine is a newer cultivar that bears abundant, 5" fully double flowers with a very unusual coloration. The warm pink blooms change to yellow near their center and feature a silvery reverse on each slightly curved petal. The overall look is garden fabulous! Suggest a liberal planting of Double Shine in back borders (with its 44" stems, it makes a fine anchor plant), cutting gardens and anywhere else in the landscape where color and flair are in short supply. Like most dahlias, this decorative type is quick and easy to grow. Lift in fall in zones 3-8.
