PEONY potted tuber - Joker

(tuber in pot with soil, not yet sprouting)

Aptly named for its surprising knack for changing colors right in the middle of its growing cycle. In a nutshell, you'll get two blooms in one with Joker Peony! This unusual variety is a real quick-change artist—it starts out with a deep pink hue, but as the blooms age they mature to snowy white with a delicate pink picotee trim. Joker delivers a plethora of very large flowers that are fully double and quite lush. They make sunny borders pop and cut-flowers bouquets a delight. It perennializes well, reappearing reliably year after year with increased vigor and beauty. An easy-to-grow peony variety, it's great for new gardeners or those without a lot of free time.
